AP Crypto Mindset
*This content reflects our personal views and is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not financial or investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile and speculative, and you can lose some or all of your investment. Past performance, including Bitcoin’s historical growth, does not guarantee future results. Diversification does not eliminate the risk of loss. Availability and regulation of crypto vary by country.
Ecosystems & Infrastructure
We look for projects with established technology, real utility, strong partnerships, and a credible path to adoption, and we avoid meme coins and hype. Our research follows institutional involvement, as major asset managers, banks, and public companies build on blockchain networks. We also track the tokenization of U.S. stocks, ETFs, and other real-world assets, which is bringing traditional markets onto blockchain rails with the potential for 24/7 trading and faster settlement. Alongside this, we study centralized and decentralized exchanges, stablecoins, and payment networks, and we watch for partnerships with major companies, institutions, and investors, because real partnerships can signal real-world use.
A New Asset Class, Still Early
We view crypto as an emerging fourth asset class, alongside stocks, bonds, and real estate. Since Bitcoin launched, it has grown from a single experiment into a global ecosystem, and its foundations are still being built. Many of us think of it as a modern form of venture capital, with higher risk but meaningful potential for growth as adoption expands. Our approach is simple: research, accumulate, hold, and give the strongest ideas time to develop. We believe 2030 to 2040 could be a defining period as tokenization, blockchain infrastructure, and digital financial markets mature.
