Review Your Current Investment Portfolio

Building wealth is a process, not a single transaction. This page walks through how we approach long-term investing, including how we structure our portfolio, what we focus on, and how we manage risk, so you can see our process and use it to inform your own research.

Portfolio Structure

We build around a long-term core of broad-market ETFs tracking indexes like the S&P 500 and Nasdaq, which give diversified exposure to established companies and economic growth. Around that core, we add individual stocks and thematic positions in industries we expect to shape the future economy. Spreading exposure across sectors, company sizes, and themes means no single holding decides the outcome. We review our allocations periodically and rebalance when positions drift, rather than reacting to every market move.

Focus Areas

We look beyond today’s market to the businesses and technologies building tomorrow’s economy. That includes AI and semiconductors, the chips and computing power behind modern technology, and energy, both traditional and emerging, that powers an increasingly digital economy. We also follow critical materials, the minerals that technology and energy depend on, along with space, automation and robotics, and next-generation infrastructure that supports future growth. Themes are only a starting point, and we still research the individual companies within them.

Our Strategy

We give investments years, not weeks, to develop, which lets us focus on the underlying thesis rather than daily price swings. We use Dollar-Cost Averaging, investing a fixed amount on a regular schedule instead of trying to time one perfect entry. Where available, we use tax-advantaged accounts to keep more of what our investments earn, though rules vary by country, so it’s worth confirming with a qualified professional. Because reinvested returns can earn returns of their own, starting early gives compounding more time to work.

Risk Management

No investment is risk-free, and we plan for that. We spread our money across sectors and holdings to limit the damage from any one company or theme, though diversification reduces risk without eliminating it, and many assets can fall together in a downturn. We stay patient and disciplined, knowing declines are part of long-term investing, and we don’t let short-term volatility drive the strategy. We cap how much any single holding can represent, keeping higher-risk ideas smaller, and we regularly check whether our original reasons for owning each holding still hold.
